Another World StrangeField/Halliday Foundation (April 2026)

Between November 2025 and April 2026 I was part of the Murmuration Residency, a partnership between StrangeField and the Halliday Foundation (a charity based in the East End of Glasgow, working with people experiencing homelessness and poverty). I ran weekly creative sessions for families, culminating in an exhibition at the end showing works in clay, miniature model making, collage, drawing, sculpture and more. The sessions were themed around an imagined world, considering the landscapes, architecture, flora and fauna and man-made artefacts of this un-named place. The project drew upon my own childhood memories and interests, sparked by finding an old encyclopaedia that I used to study, filling ring binders with drawings of the animals inside.

With thanks to Glasgow Museum Resource Centre’s Handling Kit service which provided hands-on inspiration for the sessions.
